Shoji Hamada

I personally enjoyed this particular work of Shoji Hamada because it has an amazing rustic feel to it and it seems to be a signature characteristic of his pieces. This artist, who traveled to Britain with Bernard Leach, saw numerous pitchers there and researched methods for making them. this is where he formed some of the basis for his works.
