homemade bird pot

I like this homemade pot because its so simple yet classy, it is very detailed. I seems to have a soft texture just by the looks of it. what stands out to me the most is the bird t top because it looks like the bird is trying to escape and fly away. I also like how the flower pedals pop out from the actual pot itself, even though the center is not.

Al Wei Wei is a a Chinese artist most famous for his contemporary work. He takes old pots and is able to refurbish them into more modern pieces of ceramics. His work is displayed in an art gallery with a picture of himself dropping his own ceramic pot. I find his pieces very interesting because they put a modern twist on an older piece of art.

Terracotta Warriors

This is a re-do on an a terracotta warrior, with bright colors. Roughly 700,000 workers created the terracotta figures for the Emperor and each soldier has its own unique facial expression. It is very fined detailed in my opinion and found very interesting that there is a story behind all these warrior at the time of Qin Shin Huang.
