Robert Arneson titled this masterpiece "Advanced Stages of Ceramophilia".  This caught my attention because, as a nursing student, I was interested to see how he had sculpted a brain, only to find out that he was, indeed, making a joke about his "abnormal love" for ceramics.  I believe that this work of art is especially funny (or "punny") because it is a sculpture of himself.  Anyone who is able to make fun of himself or herself and put it on display for the world to see is a winner in my book. I am also drawn to the fact that he made himself entirely white and only gave color to the ceramic brain.
