Saint Bridget's Flame

The table setting for Saint Bridget was my favorite from Judy Chicago's Dinner Party. The vibrant colors and interesting design caught my attention. Saint Bridget was an Irish Catholic who was responsible for starting convents and monasteries throughout Ireland. Her Celtic name, Brigid, means "fiery arrow," and that was the inspiration for this beautiful plate. I adore this table setting and it truly does symbolize a flame, which represents Saint Bridget perfectly.
