Handmade Tableware

This article reminds us to appreciate the piece of art that people take the time to make by hand, and how they are not made in factories. The article suggests that by buying factory made pots, we in a way loose touch with ourselves. Pottery has gone from being needed just for the necessities of life, to being made on artists free time just for the sake of enjoyment. I selected the image above to show the variety of styles of handmade tableware that many of us may use on a daily basis. I like how sleek and simple the objects are, and it shows how the artists really took their time and put effort into making these pieces.
